Generally, when I travel, I check my luggage. I travel A LOT for work. I am United Premier Gold member which allows me two (2) free 75 lb. luggage. Any passenger travelling with me also gets this benefit.
Today’s particular post is specific for carry on only trips. One overhead bin luggage and one personal item that goes under the seat in front of you.

Regardless of where I am going or what I’m doing, there are things I ALWAYS pack with me! All of these items are packable (compressable to save space) and great for all sorts of unpredictable climages (e.g. rain, wind, cold, light snow). I also have an extra bag in case I need to shop or carry more since I usually have a hip bag/fanny pack as my airport purse.
